In my digital storytelling class, I was tasked with interviewing a person of my choosing and telling their story in 3 minutes or less, using Premiere Pro to edit. After meeting Kirstin that semester, I was eager to learn her story and how she built the brand.
At my first Purvelo class, I felt like more than just a client. I felt like a valued community member and fell in love with indoor cycling.
Purvelo was founded in Charlottesville, VA in 2015 by Kristin Watson. She describes herself as a “generous community maven who looks to build relationships through local connections and works to empower small business owners to collaborate to build better communities for everyone.” Purvelo has locations in four college towns: Charlottesville, Athens, Auburn, and Chapel Hill.
